<p>My brother is applying to the Ivies. What are his chances?
We live in New Jersey and we are over represented minorities with an annual income of 50 to 60 thousand.
My brother’s stats are:
GPA: 3.91 UW
SAT: 2230
SAT 2: 790 Chem 750 Math 2 760 Physics
Rank: 3/450
Took 8 AP classes over 4 years of high school. Got 5’s on 4 of them and the rest were 4’s.
AP Scholar with distinction. Rensellear medal award, high honor roll, particpant in the regional chemistry olympiad and regional mathematics tournament.
EC:
Captian of science, math, debate, and environment clubs. Took college courses at Stony Brook University. Spanish Honor Society and newspaper club member.
Tutored autistic children and even helped out in an autistic children workshop in 9th and 10th grade. Tutored other children over the summer in calculus and chemistry.
Has over 200 hours of community service from the above mentioned activities and service at the local church.
