<p>There are plenty of applicants like him who will be accepted and plenty more who will be rejected. He’s viable. What more can one say?</p>

<p>he has 2400 SAT. I read somewhere on CC that these students are accepted at a rate of close to 50% to most selective schools. so maybe his chances at princeton are 50%?</p>

Where did you get that statistic from? Because if that’s true…there are three people in my grade right now who have 2400s (out of a class of 170) that I really need to avoid applying to the same schools as :(</p>

I would say that having math as a hook is not going to do much for an Asian applicant, but for the past few years, Princeton acceptees at my school have always had incredible stats but relatively average extracurriculars, so idk</p>
