HOMECOMING QUEEN.

She’s not going to apply for financial aid.
chances at UCB, UCLA, UCSD PLEASE!
and all the other UC’s!
thankssssssss

yikes i dont know about ucb and ucla unless u r california residents. than ur chances are higher

If those SAT scores are on the 2400 scale (which I can only assume they are due to the second 1650 score) then that’s the only issue needs to work on. Even in state, those SAT scores are low…

not w/ those SAT scores. maybe UCSD.

Here are the average stats of students admitted this year (2006-2007) Source is the UC system.

UCLA: SAT 1996, GPA 4.13
UCB: SAT 2009, GPA 4.17
UCSD: SAT 1936, 4.06
UCD 1826, 3.89
UCSB 1840, 3.90
UCSC 1747, 3.65
UCI 1829, 3.93

Note: The above GPAs are UC GPAs. If you are unsure of what the UC GPA scale is, go to <a href=“Admissions | University of California”>www.ucop.edu/pathways and look under admissions. It explains how the UC GPA is computed, and your girlfriend can figure hers out. (It is likely somewhat different than the GPA on her transcript).

Keep the following in mind: These numbers don’t show the subject test scores, nor do they tell anything about the rest of the UC’s “holistic” admissions process. So, we’re missing a lot of information to determine where any individual applicant might stand. And, of course, these are medians - that means half of admits will be above, half below. Still, the closer you come to these “medians,” the better your overall chances, all other things being equal.

Best of luck to your girlfriend!
