The EC’s are fantastic and the SAT score is solid for most schools, but could be a little higher. The GPA is also great… here’s my diagnosis:

Georgetown: Biggest Reach (which is fine, given you don’t have too many)
Johns Hopkins: Another Big Reach
Carnegie Mellon: Reasonable Reach
Cornell: Reasonable Reach (EC’s count a lot here, so that’s a plus)
Chicago: High Match-Low Reach
Rochester: You’re In
Bucknell: You’re In
George Washington Honors: Reasonable Reach (The SAT is pretty low though)
Naval Academy: You’re In (espec. if you play the football card)

I would try to get some coaches on the phone, b/c that could increase chances for your son to get into schools such as Cornell; however, unless he’s a superstar prospect, I wouldn’t count on it at Georgetown… you didn’t really include many sports schools here, which I’d suggest b/c he could prob get a nice athletic scholarship, here are some of my suggestions:

Replace Carnegie Mellon with Northwestern (another fantastic school and more sports-oriented; also would cater to your son’s interests based on his EC’s and more realistic w/ SAT’s)

Replace Johns Hopkins or GW Honors (b/c both are pretty unrealistic reaches, one of them is fine though) with Michigan-Ann Arbor or UPitt Honors (both solid choices, given your son’s interests, and given the lack of matches, either would be great schools to look into)

I agree, the UW GPA is what really matters.
Is he being recruited anywhere? That would really help his chances if he contacted the coaches of schools he was looking at and see if they would be interested in having him play for their team.
