<p>This is obviously subject to possible change (I’m a sophomore) but based on what I have done/plan to do, what are my chances?</p>

<p>Gpa: about 4.5 weighted
Rank: 5/379
8 APs (U.S History, Government, Art History, Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, English, Statistics) and 3 Honors courses (Physiology, pre-cal, hon eng III)
Don’t have SAT/ACT scores yet, but I expect them to be fairly competitive since I’ve been preparing since freshman year
ECs:
founder and president of county’s first UNICEF club, second in the state (I put in an innumerable amount of hours, it’s very important to me)
JCOWA (Junior counsil of world affairs)
Academic Team (GWOC Champions)
SADD
Student Counsil
Volunteer Swim Coach to disabled children
Volunteer mentor and tutor at the local orphanage
Volunteer at the city’s Art Institute
Volunteer during the summers at the museum of natural science as an assistant teacher and childrens’ aide
YMCA student ambassador
YMCA junior leadership
NHS
Held part time job all through high school
Chosen to attend student leadership conference at Notre Dame
Won several essay contests for scholarships</p>

<p>The most important ec for me is working with kids. Mentoring at the orphanage was probably the most influential on my life. I will probably write an essay on that for my application senior year. It also influenced me to start the unicef club at my school. Our group helps promote and fundraise for better education and resources for underprivileged children globally.</p>

<p>It is just too early, you have no test scores and are only predicting what APs you will take in the future (and I am assuming some ECs too). In addition your GPA can change in the next two years.</p>

<p>It’s an estimate. I dont’ expect it to look exactly like this two years from now. It’s hypothetical as of now. I just want to see, if this is what I end up with, how I would compare.</p>

<p>If your ECs and GPA go according to plan, you’d need a 2000 on the SAT/29 on the ACT for it to be a low match.</p>

<p>But BC isn’t like Virginia Tech, a school notorious for using weighted GPA and not using the unweighted one.</p>
