Chance of getting in after being deferred?

Senior at public high school in Chicago suburbs

3.76 out of 4 unweighted GPA

25 ACT

rank- 45/630 (top 10%)

no honors or AP

2 service clubs in 4 year

I work in my school's bookstore

Applying for DGS

What do you think my chances are?

I'm shocked to hear you were deferred and the main reason you were because your class rigor is bad. No honors and ap makes ur schedule look weak. Whats your weighted gpa? And I think you will get in don't worry!

weighted GPA is 5.81.. I'm not sure what it's out of though. Thanks for your opinion! :)

how do you have such a high weighted GPA without any honors or APs? I don't get how that works...I guess every school is different but what do you get the added boost to your weighted GPA for?

I don't know... I have only gotten A's and a few B's so maybe that helped?

there's no way your weighted is that high. something is messed up cause with no honors or AP isn't going to make it that high. even if u got all A plus it wouldn't be that high.

I don't know how my school calculates the weighted GPA. I just know that on my transcript, that's what is says. I think it might be out of 7 or 8? That's just a guess though.
