<p>Hey, guys, I am a rising senior and a friend told me to come here so I can find out my chances.</p>

<p>HOOK: My school is very dangerous and ghetto. Everyday, people are shot and police patrol and surround our school because it is out of control. Only 10 people take AP Classes. I survived 3 years [so far] in a very bad high school and still stayed on top. Does this count as a hook?</p>

<p>Also, I would like feedback about what type of schools I should apply to. I need more safeties. I am interested in the 7 year medical program so can someone tell me other universities that have a 7 year accelerated medical program.</p>

<p>Your EC’s are really scattered. I see no foundation beneath that laundry list. Remember, the Common App only accepts 7 EC’s max. Which ones would you choose?</p>

<p>Colleges love self-starters. The fact that you studied 4 APs independently last year, and got 5s in three of them, is very impressive. You have good chances.</p>

<p>I laughed out loud when I read that. lmao; get real now–there’s no way it’s that chaotic. and you must be a high target then since people are probably jealous of your valedictorian status; this being said, carry first aid with you at all times!</p>

<p>on a serious note, you seem to have a shot at all of those schools. you have stellar stats as well as SATs. congrats and keep it up.</p>
