Northeastern University
Rutgers University
University of the Sciences in Philadelphia
University of Connecticut
University of Rhode Island
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

Thanks!

Your ECs aren't too good. It seems like you didn't have many leadership positions either.
Far reach for all colleges, especially Northeastern and Rutgers. Your GPA is also low.

Thanks for being honest. Leadership positions - through the club I'm President of, I organized many events that I wrote off as separate activities (like organizing a blood drive for 3 different schools). Anyone else?

That person above makes no sense. Your GPA and test scores and ECs are all excellent! You have a great shot at all those schools!

Thanks for your help! Anyone else want to share? I will chance back and read essays if needed!

I agree for those schools your gpa and says are really good. You should defintely be in for all of those. Good luck.
Please chance me back. Thanks so much.

don't know too much about the pharmacy program but i'd say your chances are pretty good for all of those schools

Thanks, anyone else?

Whoever the first commenter is, is an idiot. You're probably in at all those schools. Your GPA and test scores are good. Don't worry about it. <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1192613-chance-me-please-will-chance-back.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1192613-chance-me-please-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

A 3.8 unweighted GPA isn't low at all. I think your chances are great. Northeastern may be a slight reach/high match; your critical reading score is a little low. However, your overall SAT score is good. Your service hours are excellent. Good luck!

Chance me back?

Thanks.. I chanced back! Anyone else want to comment?

You'll be fine :) Just relax and enjoy your last year of high school!

Don't worry about the first poster. Only school that MIGHT reject you is Northeastern (I think you'll get in anyway), you are a mortal lock for the rest. Good luck! Chance back @ <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1201569-chances-senior-will-chance-back.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1201569-chances-senior-will-chance-back.html</a> ?

Hopefully I get into Northeastern, that is my top choice.

Thanks & I chanced back! Anyone else care to chance please?

Hi!

Sorry it takes long to respond to your messages. I'll respond on here. :)

FIRST of all: stop worrying too much! I've seen that you have posted a couple chance threads on here but the cold hard truth is that NONE of us can actually tell you what your chance of admission will be. Especially, that first poster who said that your GPA is too low. Only admissions can decide whether you get in or not and at this point in time, since the college applying season is upon us, there isn't really much you can do about your stats except hope for the best.

BUT...
I understand the need for reassurance. I was once in your shoes not too long ago. :P

Rutgers is the most difficult pharmacy school on your list to get into. They do not really look at the 'whole package' (although an interesting essay can help; hint: write about a diversity experience). They are mostly interested in GPA and SAT scores, which are high for most of the students admitted. I go to Northeastern and when I tell people that I was admitted to Rutgers, they'll say "Seriously?! And you chose to go here why?". However, those who were in my boat and chose not to attend Rutgers, completely understand why I made my decision.

But that's besides the point.

URI and Northeastern also have selective pharmacy programs.

Chances:
Northeastern University (Match - Most likely In)
Rutgers University (Reach- try working on your essay, but it will be difficult to get in)
University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (No idea, didn't apply)
University of Connecticut (Safety- In)
University of Rhode Island (Match- Most likely In)
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Safety- In)

Admission does get more selective each year. Again, don't worry about it too much. :)

Don't listen to the first poster! Your GPA and ECs are excellent, decent SAT. I think you have a great chance at all those schools.

Please chance back
