<p>This is probably going to be my last college chances asking with all the information about me!!! </p>

<p>OK. I am…
an International Student from South Korea and is a senior in high school in Madison, WI (6th year in the state).</p>

<p>I have a cumulative GPA (weighted) of 3.908. (and my GPA has been going up since freshmen)</p>

<p>I took

  1. AP Bio
  2. AP Stat (taking it right now)
  3. AP US (taking it right now)</p>

<p>I took

  1. Geometry Honors
  2. Physics Honors
  3. Chemistry Honors
  4. Pre- Calculus Honors
  5. Algebra 2 Honors</p>

<p>My SAT score is 2000 combined
Reading: 610
Math: 700
Writing: 690
I took it this June and probably will not take it again.</p>

<p>I took SAT 2 this October
Math level 1: 720
US History: 670 (I took this even before I started AP US… haha how dumb)</p>

<p>My Toefl score is 107! and will go up when I take it again next month</p>

<p>Activities are…

  1. A cappella group (10th, 11th, 12th)- performs in different schools and also fundraises for breast cancer
  2. Barbershop Quartet Group (11th, 12th)- I’m an Alto
  3. Cultural group(9,10,11,12)- I sing solo (Korean songs) during talent showcase week.
  4. Badger Conference Honors Choir (12th) - It was an one day activity (11 hours), but I was selected to be a member of the choirs.(All over the WI)
  5. Bavarian Motors Korea(BMW&Mini) Database Assistant (11th Summer)- It was a paid internship. I organized documents and BMW Korea database. - over this summer
  6. Tenor/Bariton of Chapel Choir, Band Vocal of CCC(9th, 10th)- It was a service hour work. I sing in a band… and a choir.
  7. Art Club: I’m in an art club that mostly does wall painting…
  8. Math team (9th, 11th, 12th)
    9.Teak Won Do Teacher & Martial Art Club Organizer(9, 10, 11, 12): As a black belt holder, I teach Teak Won Do and other self-defense techniques to children and adults in community centers of Inchon, South Korea.
  9. Rower, Rowing (9th, 10th)- I was in a rowing crew and won some medals.</p>

<p>I wrote an essay about my genetic skin disease (EDS) which appears 1 in 20,000~50,000. About how I overcame it by exercising and stuff. It is pretty solid… I guess.</p>

<p>So… Chance Me!!!</p>

<p>I will major history or history of art in most of the school

  1. Boston College (Early Action)- I applied for Composition major… last month… do I have a chance?? - Oh, I wrote a different essay for this one because I applied for music major. I wrote about my stage fright problem and how I overcame it.</p>

<p>I would have to agree with Vee100196 on your chances. Your GPA is good, and you have great EC’s! Your SAT is a little weak for some of the schools on your list- but that won’t necessarily kill your application because you are very strong in other areas. <p>You can most likely get into UM, UIC Urbana Champaign, BU, NYU without a problem.
Your reaches are probably BC, USC, UCLA, W&M, Emory.
Unlikely are Carnegie Mellon, UPenn, UVA.
