Chance pweeeeze?

<p>I know it’s ridiculously difficult to gauge anything with an ivy, especially brown, but take a look at my stats as i prepare to dive into the admissions process.</p>

<p>-Drama Productions (significant roles inevery show since my freshman year)
-International Thespian Society (Secretary, hopefully Pres next year)

-Design (and film) Advertisements and Video “Trailers” for theatrical productions

    -CAPPIES critic (critique high school theater shows and get published in local papers)

    -(next year) will be mentoring and teaching a Drama I class.
    -written a one act play and a (condensed!) screenplay
    -two years of Art at the gifted/talented level

State-wide, Recognized at CAPPIES program (for those who don’t know… its like the Oscars of High School Theater)

-My theater critiques have been published in the Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, and numerous local papers
-National Merit (yipideedooodah…yawn)</p>

Restaurant: Bussing / Hosting (3 years)
(really no significance… ha)</p>

<p>Projected Major(not sure how to concentrate it): Fine Art, Psychology, English(with intent to go into visual marketing / publication)</p>

<p>As you can see, my passion really lies in communication and creativity. I hope that’s what comes off, at least. Do I seem too one-sided? </p>

<p>I would SO amazingly appreciate any kind of feedback. Brown (with the facilities of RISD) is so where I see myself.</p>

<p>I thought Brown only required SAT IIs for PLME.</p>

<p>a good deal might depend on the high school you’re at (an AP score from sophomore year isn’t enough to make an assumption)…</p>

<p>but in my opinion you’re about as set as any applicant could be. embrace that communication/creative side! let it shine through in your essay when it comes time</p>

<p>and speaking of time, my experiences have taught me to relax at this point in your high school career. it sounds absurd, I know, but seriously take the time to enjoy things and not worry about how colleges will see you. you’ll have all of next summer to do that</p>
