School doesn’t report GPA? Do they send in a transcript at least?

yes, they send them, but gpa is not calculated.
besides, we have a very different grading system and i think it can’t be successfully converted into the american system

Looks good. BTW I got in CSOM with a 1340 SAT

Dear przemyslawgal : Yours in an unusual profile given the multiple language fluency (and an unusual set at that). Graduating with only 27 other students (ranking 3rd) from a potentially unknown high school represents a hurdle as your curriculum is not easily gauged compared to other applicants.

Without information about your high school GPA, international baccalaureate or advanced placement course work, it is hard to say whether your three-way SAT score of 1980 will stand the test of admissions. Without more about your high school preparation, you could be passed over - can you share some additional academic information that proves you are prepared?

[Side note to readers : While the SAT scores are “good enough” for the second and/or third quartile, the real issue is whether the day-in/day-out rigor and preparation in more than just english skills and elementary mathematics is there. Once we have visibility to these parameters, we can better analyze the whole picture.]
