Don’t stress over missing the priority deadline.
As far as your stats, they’re kinda like mine, a little lower in some places, a little higher in others… I’ve been getting told that I have a pretty decent chance. It’s not definite admission but assuming your essays were good (everyone thinks they’re worse than they are…) you shouldn’t worry too much. It’s just gonna be a while before you get your decision.

Oh, yeah, I feel you on the GPA. My unweighted (which is all the UW looks at) is 3.25 which makes me a a little nervous.
And don’t try to compare yourself with the people on here that have like a 2300 SAT and a 3.99 GPA and 200+ hours of community service [if that is actually someone’s stats, it was unintentional]… they are some of the elite and yeah, it’s a selective school but the averages for the aren’t perfect scores because they do accept people with lower GPAs and SATs like us.

I also applied OOS with VERY VERY similar stats to yours. I am nervous as hell so I can’t give you much of an approximation without sounding biased because we’re both so similar, but I am wishing you the best of luck!!

But make sure your personal statements are strong! I know that they really take the essays into consideration when evaluating applications.

Lets just say we’re all awesome and we’re going to get in. If not, we can become traveling musicians across Europe.
[kidding, kidding! but really- don’t freak out too much. remember, if you/ we don’t get in, apply for transfer at any and all opportunities, that’s what I plan on doing if I don’t get accepted for Fall 2010]
