Chance this out-of-state applicant

<p>Hey everyone, thought i’d do one of these. Here goes nothing:</p>

<p>Applied Undecided</p>

<p>ACT:31</p>

<p>GPA:3.9 unweighted, 4.1 weighted.</p>

<p>Senior Classes: AP Drawing & Painting, AP 2-D (photography), AP Calculus, H Spanish 5.
**Took AP Euro junior year.</p>

<p>Volunteer, peer tutor (to some with learning impairments), working part time in restaurants for 2 years, designed class shirts, won some small school awards, avid artist, track and field, etc.</p>

<p>Excellent recommendations from my past art teacher and Spanish teacher.</p>

<p>Important note: they initially didn’t see my portfolio because I applied undecided. <p>USC is a private university. California students were under 50% in the class that entered in August 2012. After California the next state that sends the most students to SC is Texas. </p>

<p>The USC brochure lists these factors which are considered for admission:</p>

<p>Academic performance
Rigor of curriculum
Writing ability
Standardized test scores
Extracurricular activities
Community service
Fit for USC</p>
