Chance to Ivy Schools

I had A-/B+ grade in my freshmen year due to atheletic and EC activies. I just realized that this may seriously jeopardize my chance to ivy colleges.
I test well and feel confident about SATI and II tests. I am also hard working and in one of the top private HS’s in the state. I am wondering about my chance to ivy schools. Any recommendations for salvaging the situation? I will continue my sport but wondering about the right balance since its time commitment. I am also young in my class and repeating 9th could also be an option so that i can make up the grade, though it is not ideal.

A-/ B+ wont affect you that much! take a deep breath you will be fine! you didn’t completely bomb freshman year so you are fine! the most important year is junior year so try very hard the rest of your high school career and do a lot of extra curricular activities and im sure you will be fine. Also, don’t focus just on going to ivy league schools, there are a lot of great colleges out there besides Harvard! Keep your options over and don’t worry too much!
