Chance: University of Wisconsin Eau Claire?

<p>What would my chances be for getting into the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with the following?
3.3GPA
1500 SAT score
1 AP course: US History, 3 on the AP exam
Bottom half/middle class rank.
Heavily involved in extracurricular’s.
Out of state - NJ.
Nationally recognized school of excellence.
Caucasian, Jewish.
History major.
Class of 2011, would be applying accordingly.</p>

<p>I have to admit I am unfamiliar with SAT scoring. In Wisconsin ACT scores are used. Anywho, a 3.3 is just O.K. It won’t help you at Eau Claire but if you have very good test scores it won’t hurt you. The middle 50 scores for the ACT at UW-Eau Claire are 23-27. I’m not sure what that translates to as far as the SAT scores go. </p>

<p>My advice: Make sure your application stands out from the pack by interesting/unique projects, work, etc. Do that and the 3.3 shouldn’t kill you.</p>
