Chance with Multiple Legacies

I’m just curious…
I have multiple siblings that went to multiple IVIES. I know it’s not a parent but does this have any effect at all?

Yes 10char

At most ivies, only a parent who was an undergrad makes you a legacy, so multiples are impossible. I have counseled many students who had both parents graduate from the same ivy. While the schools claim double legacy is treated the same as single, you’ve got to think all that loyalty directed at one school has got to help the very qualified legacy.

But what about in terms of siblings…does this help me? For example, I have a brother that went to Princeton, would the fact that he went there help me when I’m applying?
