EC:
SADD, Tech Mates, High Honor Roll Since 7th grade, Varsity Cross Country (9th, 10th, 12th,) Varsity Track (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th,) Volunteer at hospital (will have 200+ hours by the time I submit my app,) Summer job (pouring concrete around 30 hours a week,) Competed in various architecture/ engineering contests, Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Inventor and have created some very interesting projects with the 3d rendering etc, NASA 40hr/week for 8 week internship (will most likely get)

My class rank, unweighted, weighted will all skyrocket by the end of this year because I have been/will continue to get 4.95s+ my junior year because I have been working very hard. I will take the SAT, and ACT later this year and hopefully do well, but take it again my senior year.
I am also going to learn basic programming in java, C++ during the summer. I also know one of the governing generals at NASA. Also will be president of techmates likely, and trying for some type of position in SADD. Also going for NHS

Do I have a chance to get into any Ivy League schools for engineering or computer science? The ones I’m looking at are Cornell, Brown, and Dartmouth. Other schools I’m looking at are Miami of Ohio, Purdue, and Virginia Tech, maybe Carnegie but I don’t know.
Should I pursue with my dreams at an Ivy? I’m just afraid that I will keep dreaming and dreaming then get rejected and be distraught. Do I have a reasonable chance, or am I too late with not that great grades/Stats to get in? It’s not like I want to go to an Ivy just because it’s a great school, I just feel like I would really like the atmosphere there. I’m going to study hard to try to get a 34/35, around a 2200, and around an 800 on my math, and somewhere mid to high 700’s on chem.
Don’t be afraid to crush my dreams, I just want to know if all my hard work right now will be worth nothing. Also, I want to apply as mechanical engineer or computer science.

Don’t let your rank drop. If you aren’t in the top 10%, that could really hurt you.
I can’t chance you because of your lack of SAT/ACT scores. You have to wait for them to come in, not predict them. Good luck!

Polyosophy’s right…it’s impossible to chance w/o your standardized test scores. Academically you look pretty good…keep your grades in A range and keep your rank high and you should be okay in that regard. Don’t be discouraged to dream big with the ivys, just make sure you have good back-up safeties that you would be happy to go to, because the ivys can be crapshoots. Good luck!

chance me back if you can:

It’s important if you’re applying to superselective schools to have a range of schools where you’re likely to get in, have a good shot of getting in, and some reaches. Solid grades and rank do seem to be key in admissions, so make sure to do your best. Also, ace those standardized tests! It’s perfectly fine to dream to attend an Ivy-caliber school, but make sure you have a back-up plan! Good luck :)

Please chance me if you can:
