A potentially serious downside: I did not do an alumni interview. By the time I realized that I should do one, it was too late. Ooops

I think you have a very good chance! You have excellent grades and the National Merit. I am not able to interview either cause it was too late. Best of luck! Did you apply ED II or RD?

Thanks for your input! I applied RD. Bowdoin is my top choice, but I change my mind often, and didn't like the idea of getting locked into one school.

I'm not that familiar with Bowdoin, but according to their CDS, the interview is only "Considered", the lowest level of emphasis possible in the parameters of the CDS. Not interviewing shouldn't be much of a problem at all, especially given that you live so far away. Best of luck!
