Hello! I am a junior in high school looking at Northeastern and was wondering what my chances were. If you could give me some insight and helpful hints that would be great!

GPA: 3.6 (A- at my school)
ACT: 32
SAT: (haven't taken yet)

Classes: All honors classes except for AP English and AP History

Clubs: Ambassador (President)
School Store Intern
Debate Club
Varsity Tennis (Captain)
National Junior Honor Society

Service: Single-handedly organized a doll drive for Dominican Republic, single-handedly planned a charity ball for Dominican Republic, service trips to South Africa and Dominican Republic, Special Olympics Volunteer

Job Experience: Counselor at a summer camp, campaign intern for a senator, assistant at a prestigious coalition

Sports: Regionally ranked in the Mid-Atlantic Tennis Association: Girls 14's: 13, Girls 16's: 45, Girls 18's: 20

Awards- Young Woman of the Year Award, Country Club Championships Champion, Girls Varsity Tennis Champion for PVAC (the league) (3 years), Girls Varsity Tennis MVP for PVAC(3 years) Girls Varsity Tennis Player of the Year for PVAC (2 years)

my guess is you're in, but i'm also not an admissions representative, so you never know.

If your gpa is unweighted (so the weighted would be higher from your honors classes) then you're in decent shape. If it's the weighted one, then it's low.

Also, just my opinion, but if you plan on writing about your Dominican Republic stuff, you might not want to phrase them as "single-handedly". It's nice to show your a team player too, so saying you led something would be sufficient. It won't matter much for college, but describing it to a job might (especially since you only have a finite amount of questions to convince them you are a leader but still a team player).

Excellent chance as long as you score 1900 or higher on the SAT. That's slightly lower than the average, but you are very strong in everything else, assuming your GPA is UW. If you score lower than 1900 though, you might be pushing it. Try to get over 2000 and you will be fine.

My weighted GPA is a 3.84...Thank you all so much for your answers and suggestions!!

I just noticed your ACT score (was it posted earlier?), which you can use instead of the SAT. I don't think you should have any problem getting in.
