my brother is at yale; but pretty sure it wont help at all. it’s just that i know a lot about yale and visited etc. the school’s done wonders with its financial system, so my brother is paying less than he would at a UC (univ of california) school, which is a big deal especially for my parents.

i’d want to major in either english or film studies… hopefully work in the tv/film industry someday, but i’d like the strong broad education yale offers before anything else. The Yale Record, its humor publication, was another seller for me along with its offer of a bajillion acapella groups and the residential college system. i have my interview tomorrow; it’s a bit nerve wracking i guess b/c i’m more the self-effacing type… i hate having to boast about anything
