The DPT program at BU and SLU is one of the tougher ones to get into. Its good that you have a PT internship, as that is very important to the colleges. Not only that, but these programs look for a strong core in math and science. I’m assuming you know all the prerequisites for the programs such as required classes. I would try retaking the ACT to give yourself a more competitive edge. Your score is not bad, but as the program is more selective, it wouldn’t hurt to try and get that to around a 34. Have you considered other schools with a 6 year accelerated DPT program such as Marquette, Northeastern, and Ithaca?
I think you have a good shot at these colleges, seeing you have a PT internship and other extracurriculars. I would just show more interest in the science field with your clubs/activities. Hope that helps!
