I just figured it out - for anyone else who has this problem, uninstall your current version of adobe reader and install the older one from the link on the application page.

as the notifications to apply are rolling with everyone having a 2 week deadline, will the notification of finalists/semi-finalists etc be rolling also, is there a date that if you havent heard anything you can know you didnt get it? what about any interviews? any set weekend?

From reading older threads, I’m pretty sure that the earliest applicants get notified of whether or not they get an interview at some point in January. The interviews start pretty quickly after that.

Don’t fill in the application online. Save it to your computer, then open it and fill it out. That way, you’re not relying on your Internet connection to keep your information safe until you print it.

But since you can’t save the information in the form itself, type it all in a word processor first, then cut-and-paste into the application form just before you print it.

The Post Office lost my first copy of the application, but careful planning and fabulous scrambling got my application in on time.

The waiting is intense.

Does anyone know if January 1st is when the letters actually start going out to the earliest applicants who will be interviewed, or is that date just a suggestion?
