Chancellor's Scholarship Competition 2013

MommyDearest, relax! It will be okay! If they really want him, they will still offer him the scholarship. One year, someone didn’t interview until close to the middle of April, and was still offered the scholarship. I’m sure he has a very good chance. If it makes you feel any better, maybe call and see if you can move his interview up.

Kana, agreed. Pitt is just as good, if not better, than any brand college. We are amazed at the opportunities our daughter, who really wanted to go to an Ivy, has had at Pitt. If you want more details, PM me.

I will say that one thing about Pitt that we as parents really love, is their flexibility in helping students achieve their individual goals.

The ironic thing is when our older D was starting to research colleges, I kept overlooking Pitt because I thought it was a private school and we wouldn’t be able to afford it. It was CC that educated me about the value of their university, and I was subsequently able to talk D into applying. The rest is history.

Kana, I’m really excited for you and your daughter. My daughter is in the engineering school, so if you have any specific questions, again PM me and I will ask her. She is home on break this week.
