Now that Pitt Acceptances are starting to come out… all accepted (particularly OOS) are wondering how much merit we can expect. I realize that Pitt does not provide merit for most.
Once you receive merit (if any) please post amounts and stats and college. This will help the class of 2026 and the 2025 students waiting.

My D25 just got $80k scholarship! We’re OOO.

Same, just found out child got $20k/year, OOS.
She received an email at 7:15 pm, then logged into the portal. There’s a message saying something like, “View your important scholarship documents.”

This makes Pitt very affordable. Thrilled!
My kid just received a letter offering $40k ($10K/year) merit aid. Admitted to Dietrich a couple weeks ago. We’re in-state.
Still waiting to hear on merit for Dietrich. Accepted three weeks ago, OOS. Hoping it becomes affordable for DS!
Did your child receive an email first?
Yes. It’s in the same location as the acceptance letter on the portal. The day before we got it, we received an email that Pitt is affordable
