Hi, I am an Asian girl who attends a pretty competitive school (ranked in the 200s in the nation). I have taken the SAT three times, with my critical reading score being really low in all three times, so I am (not going to lie) VERY VERY VERY worried about my chances:
December:
CR 610
M 750
W 640 w/ 8 essay

January:
CR 690
M 760 (One wrong was a 760 since the curve was very bad…do colleges even consider things like bad curves?)
W 790 w/ 9 essay

June:
CR 640
M 710
W 790 w/ 11 essay

My SAT scores for the June were extremely low (with a dramatic drop in math) because of a pretty bad incident that happened, causing me to make even more careless errors than I usually do. I didnt cancel the score (I’m such an idiot) because I had that very very very slim hope, being optimistic, that my CR would be higher…but, as you can see, it wasnt.
How will colleges view my scores? Will they be able to tell that something happened in June or will it really hurt me (those that dont use score choice)?
And is my CR bad enough that I should take the ACT in September?

My unweighted GPA is currently…a 3.97?? I dont know what my unweighted GPA is but its probably 4.5ish. I have gotten A’s in every class except for A+ in spanish every year and 2 A- in junior year history H and AP eng
I’ve taken AP chem, AP Eng lang, AP calc bc, and self-studied ap physics b …dont know what my scores are yet.
