<p>I was in the 8 year med program and as Jsaab said, I think your GPA may unfortunately hold you back for the 7 year program. All of the med students in my class admitted to SMED could have gone to ivy league schools. However, there is the 8 year program called MMEDIC that you can google; should you not be accepted to the 7 year program you can apply as a sophomore to the 8 year program. They do look at your high school stats but your college GPA and activities are much more important. PM me with any further questions!</p>
