Boy, you could hear the crickets on this site…

Anyhow, per this Rollins link:http://rollins.edu/finaid/documents/2008-09MeritScholarships.pdf

You should at least qualify for their “Presidential” scholarship @ $13,000.
Don’t know if the superscore the ACT, you would need to call them and find out.
If they do, then the 29 ACT would get you the $15,000 “Alonzo Rollins” scholarship.

The tough question is then is how you make out against the $34,520 in tuition.
Only you can determine if there is “value” received.
At best, that’s $19,520 per year for tuition alone.

XNYer: laugh of the day…Rollins is definitely on our radar but I guess we’ll have to explore other places for significant info…

I go to Rollins. I also applied for the program but was denied. However I am doing International Business but the program requires too much Foreign Language for me to be interested in staying. I may be transferring to UMiami or UCF next fall. I am much more interested in Marketing.

I believe with your credentials you will more than likely gain admission to the program. I have heard it is a steep program so good luck. If you have any other questions feel free.

The thing that’s holding you back here is your ACT score. There are full-rides and 70% scholarships available, and your test scores is the only thing precluding you from any of those. You should receive some money, but Rollins is very expensive so I don’t know if it would be enough for your liking. Good luck!

Not too happy with my merit award however.
$8,000 for the Presidential scholarship.
That award goes “up to $13,000” per their site.
Have a 3.6 GPA & 1360 SAT. Thought I’d get more.
Anyway to appeal the award?

Although a nice school, I am not going to pay $22,000 per year to go there.
One more spot available to someone else (rich of course)
