i know i had a lot of B’s freshman year but i think my strong upward trend will help me

I think you would definitely get into ALL the schools you listed, with the exception of Cornell (even with ED). You should really bump up your ACT. If you score higher than a 30, your chances will increase significantly :)

Your ECs are great! It seems you are really focused on politics - focusing on one field looks really good btw

I think that IF you increase your ACT score, you should definitely look at Georgetown. It looks like a perfect fit for you. :)

Thanks! and i would apply to georgetown, but i am dead-set against going to overly catholic colleges, they are just a really bad fit for me.
(i only have fordham there because i have a relative who is a professor there and i figure its kind of my safety)

Well, not to go against your beliefs or anything, but it’s not like you’re going to have to go to church every day (or every week) - they won’t FORCE you to do anything.

It’s basically, the education you’ll received at Georgetown vs. the religious monuments you’ll see on campus once in a while. And if you are really THAT dead-set on going to Cornell instead, then, by all means, go to Cornell  Either way, you’ll get a prime education.

bumpin’
10char

bumping again for other opinions

I can only help you on Skidmore, BU, and Fordham. I have similar stats as you (you actually seem like a slightly stronger student), and I’ve been advised to consider BU and Fordham as matches and Skidmore as a reach. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
