I know my GPA and grades aren’t that well, but I just sort of came out of this depression from having trouble with my diabetes for the past three, almost four, years and now that I’m moving on, I’m really worried about my future chances. I’ve been in the Soroptimist club for 2 years, french club for 3, tennis for 1. I’ve got really good recommendations, and I’ve written two novels. (National Novel Writing Month program).

I’m really worried about my chances! I’m applying for Universities here in California and some feedback/reassurance would be nice! Please and thank you!

that f would definitely hurt your chances at a UC. maybe UCR/UCM, UCSC if you’re lucky. any idea what your uc gpa is?

look into csu’s that offer a good program in your desired major.

please chance back! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1225356-compsci-schools-students-bad-stats-like-me-uc-chancers-please-look.html
