So, I’m an out-of-state “non-traditional” 24 year old and I just got my associates. I moved a lot and didn’t really care about school in my late teens/early 20s, but finally got my AA and just applied to 4 of the CUNY schools. I live in AZ but really want to move to NYC. My parents are willing to help me w/ moving and living costs while I finish my BA, so living in NYC as opposed to staying in AZ isn’t an issue. I applied to be a theatre major at Hunter, CCNY, Brooklyn, and Lehman for the spring semester.
I went to 3 different colleges and the GPAs go from 3.01 to 3.67 and finally a 4.0 at the school I graduated from and I have a lot of credits. I know a lot of them won’t transfer, but I’m not really bothered by it.
I already got accepted into Portland State, but would much rather go to NY (hunter is my top choice but I’d move for any of them).
I applied early for the spring term, but saw that I might not hear back until October? My lease is up in AZ on Oct 31 and my boyfriend still doesn’t know if he wants to come w/ so he’s really annoyed that it might be a last minute decision.
tl;dr what are my chances of oos transfer, for a theatre degree at the CUNY schools?
