<p>I currently go to GMU, I was accepted to W&M out of hs but I chose gmu for financial reasons. I found that I am really unhappy here, if I wanted to transfer to W&M would they consider the fact that I was accepted as a freshman or does that have no influence on their decision?</p>

<p>If you’ve kept your grades up in college (maintaining a good/top GPA, good rec letters), you should be fine with a second acceptance. There are some schools that consider your past acceptance but I’m not sure if W&M is one of them. Maybe call and find out.</p>
<p>You should keep in mind, though, that transfers are offered usually less financial aid/scholarships so if you chose GMU over W&M because of money, you should reconsider your options unless financial reasons are no longer a concern.</p>
