Thanks!

PS: I specifically care about UCLA, UCB, UCSD and UCI.

I should mention that I do plan on taking the Literature, Math II and Physics Subject Tests in December.

Also, my recommendations will be written by, one, my English teacher, whom I know very, very well; and two, my Physics teacher, who was used to be a professor at the University of Minnesota.

Some other things:

-My parents actually never went to high school.
-If you could recommend some other unis, too, that would be greatly appreciated. In case you were wondering, I prefer the West coast.

first of all, UC’s do not take recommendations. UC’s also only take 2 SATII’s of your choice.

however, Berkeley and LA are slight reaches/reaches for you because you are out of state. I think you are guaranteed UCSD and UCI.

Your UC GPA would help more than your unweighted, but I agree with dimedropper. You should get into at the very least UCI, and UCSD is a match, but UCLA and UCB are slight reaches.

How can I calculate my UC GPA?

here this thread might help:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=47935

otherwise just check out the uc application website

go to universityofcalifornia.edu and look at the profiles of each UC school. UCLA and Berkeley accept 87 - 88% in-state applicants. As an out-of-state applicant, your GPA and SAT must be very high. 3.7 unweighted? what are your classes?
