You have solid stats for Carnegie Mellon. Ivy League schools like Yale and Princeton have lagged behind the big state universities in technology for more than a decade. MIT and UIUC are both good reach schools that have world class CS programs. Virginia Tech, Penn State, Michigan, Univ of TX, Texas A&M, GA Tech are all world class computer science programs.
