AGPA for 10th Grade 2nd Semister:3.6
AGPA for 11th Grade 1st Semister: 3.67
AGPA for 11th Grade 2nd Semister: 3.83

Total: 3.47

SAT I: 660V 610M
SAT II: Biology 630 Math 600 Writing 510

(I know my Sat II scores are horrible. Im planning on taking Math and Writing this saturday.)

As far as extracurricular all ive done is Community Service. Ive been in computer and chess club but im not positive if im even on the roster for those clubs.

Also, im on the CSF list, should I put that down?

Im applying to UCSD as my far reach school. Schools I wonder if I can get in are UCR, UCSB or UCSC, and UCI. How many should I apply to?

I dunno man but what is your overall GPA… have you taken APs and/or SAT II… may be a good idea to try those.

Get in the 600’s and ull probably be competitive at UCR,UCSC,UCSB, etc. i warn you that ucsd is really tough, so a 3.47’s probably not going to do it without one hell of an essay. And i would DEFINATLY put in CSF; its a major obligation and very important.

As far as UCSD im not very hopefull for, but I figure I should atleast reach for one of them. Does the improvement play any role in UC’s accepting me? Do they like to see improvement or do they only look at Total GPA? Are any UCs safe? As far CSF, how is it an obligation? I thought it was another thing you put in as an extra.

Sorry, but must bump…

Yes, you do get points for improvement. (I saw it online). Are you instate? If you are, I think you have a good chance at UCI and R.

Ya i think
UCSD-Reach…But who knows u might get in hopefully
UCD/UCI/UCSB-Match/Reach…your Sat scores are above their avg but your gpa is a lil low…is that your UC Gpa?? If that is your uw GPA than i think they’re are matches.
UCSC/UCR-Match/Safety…I think you have a real good chance at these schools. These schools might actually be more safeties than n e thing…but i might be being to lenient. GL with everything…and let us know where you got In…in march…or is it april lol ok cya.

Yea, im in state. Do UCs care what school you went to? Like does going to a high ranked or low ranked school make any difference? And as far as essay its not coming along so well. How much does essay get weighed in? Is it mostly a tie-breaker between students with similar numbers or is it something that makes or break your application .

Yea, thats weighted. I didnt take any H or AP since i only got my stuff together around mid sophomore year and wasnt qualified Junior year. I have a few now, but didnt think if they mattered.

As far as parents college, mine went out of country and arent certified for anything of their fields in America. How should I put their education?
