Thanks for all the Help

Duke is a reach; WUStL probably is too (it’s really unpredictable). Wake and Tufts are matches/slight reaches. You’re the first premed I’ve seen on the WAMC threads who realizes you don’t have to major in science-congrats!!! Duke’s art history program has a strong focus on modern art (the Nasher musuem does too); you may or may not like that.

Reaches: Williams (the BEST for art hist), Swarthmore, Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, Stanford, U Penn, Yale, Brown, Northwestern

Matches: Bowdoin, Hamilton, Kenyon, Oberlin, Skidmore, Vassar, Wesleyan, Johns Hopkins, NYU, U Chicago, Michigan, UC Berkeley, UCLA

Match/safeties: U Rochester, Indiana U, U Pittsburgh, Boston U

Thanks for the reply

How is Duke ED acceptance rate?

I didnt think i was even gonna apply, but I visited my Aunt in Charolette, decided to stop by, and loved the campus. Looks like a fun place to be.

It is fun. Duke’s ED acceptance rate was 31.3%. The RD rate was 18.6%.

Wow. The RD acceptance rate for Duke has really gone down the past years. I remember the RD being at least 23% or higher a year or two ago. But then again I could be wrong…

Please gimme your insight guys.

My counsler thinks anyone can get into any college, and my parents want me to go to their almamater( u of baghdad-YEAH RIGHT). So they are pretty much useless
