Hm you look good - SAT and GPA seem to be on par. EDII rate is 33%. Show interest and you should be alright…I go to HS in the Bronx (I did EDI), by the way - where do you go to school?

My guess is that you have a good shot. Match/low reach. The story about your mother is compelling, and I’ve read that admissions counselors empathize with students who have overcome obstacles to do well in life. Good luck.

Scored a 1490/2220 on the December SAT, how will this affect my chances?

You have certainly improved your chances. You look like a good match; forget the low reach.

You’ll probably get in. 70-80% chance.

Hey, 1 question
Can January SAT be used in decision making or by the time, it would be too late?

Probably too late for EDII but I think your scores on the December are good enough.
