I am a founding member and Student Curator at the Corita Art Collaborative. My school used to be a college, and one of the professors there was a prominent Pop Artist named Corita Kent. She showcased her work with people like Andy Warhol and Jackson Pollack. After her death, all her work was left to the school, and no one really new how to take care of it. It was hanging in the most random places or sitting in dark rooms. They brought in a woman to take care of it, who I began to work with. We founded a team of about 20 students to restore Corita’s work and catalogue it. We have made catalogs every work, restored paintings, and developed a student docent program.

I am doing a law program at St. John’s College this and I taught myself Irish Gaelic over the summer before my sophomore year

Awards: Freshman year best Theology Student (catholic School), Sophomore year best French Student

Class rank: My school ranks by quintiles, so I know I am in the top quintile ( top 20 out of 100 student class) but I don’t know where exactly.

Any heal would be greatly appreciated

I think you have a solid shot at Emory. Granted it is selective with about a 20% acceptance rate so it can be a tossup but you do meet the gpa and test score threshold.

^It’s been around 27% recently (good news for OP!). Your academics and testing look decent, and your ECs appear to be very good. I’d say low reach

Actually last year was about 22% including ED. I would know that since I got accepted last year. This year statistics arent out yet but odds are acceptance rates would decrease and not increase. So while OP still has solid chances a 27% and 22% is still a 5% difference that can’t be ignored.

Never mind, you’re right, thecoolboy. The online stat I was referencing was from 2014.

Thanks for the help!
