I gotta give it to you straight....you aren't getting in. Your ACT is weak, your GPA is anemic, and your extra curricular activities are....underwhelming.

Perhaps Western Michigan would be a better match.

Best,
KB

In case you didnt' pick up the sarcasm...you'll be fine for admissions.

Best,
KB

Michigan isn't that cold, just think of about 1-2 more weeks of Winter compared to Indiana, and 1-2 more inches of snow.

I wish I could go back in time and reapply myself...would of done things a lot more like you.

thanks for your replies. i'm actually from the southern tip of indiana so michigan will be a shock, but i still wan to go there. i guess i will just have to wait to hear back from the admissions office

The admissions officer from Bloomington came to my school, and said the climate change wasn't a real shock. He went to school at MSU, and said the same as I told you. It's not going to be a big change. If you were going from the southern states to Michigan, then i'd say it would be. But it's not that much different.

I agree w/ a2wolves6...the climate change shouldn't be that drastic if you are not a complete idiot (which you probably arent judging by your gpa) and dress appropriately for the weather.
