<p>I’m an American student and my teacher also sent in a rec letter. I applied to the Faculty of Arts and all the other forums with kids who are ivy-league status are scaring me! Input is much appreciated</p>
<p>Well in most cases I would say that kids on CC are huge overachievers, and that they don’t reflect the majority of applicants. That being said, your numbers are below average. Unless you’ve got something crazy going for you that you’re not telling us… I’d say chances are slim. Sorry.</p>
<p>^ I think that is incorrect and that you have decent chances. McGill is very numbers based and I think your SAT is about average (which isn’t such a bad thing)</p>
<p>Based on the Collegeboard middle 50, and assuming that OP’s scores rounded to about 630 in each section, then her scores are below average. Not by much, but I was was under the impression that those in the lower 25% usually only get in because of a hook, athletics, or another extenuating circumstance. Am I wrong?</p>
<p>I also studied abroad and sent in my transcript from the other country too, do they take that into account?</p>
