Chances at Ivy League and UCs

Currently, I am highly doubtful of my chances of getting into any colleges.

Advice and suggestions would be helpful.
I am currently a junior at Lowell High School, the 26th high school on Newsweek’s 2006 Top 100 High Schools list (if that counts for anything).

I have maintained a 3.8 GPA throughout the semesters (weighted 4.5). Last year, I took one AP and three honors courses (three regular classes; PE, Chemistry, and Art). I will be taking four AP and two honors classes next year. The other class is art. I am involved in Forensics (a nationally renowned debate league–2 years), Model United Nations (2 years), and Make a Difference (a volunteer club–1 year). I have placed in debates, attended conferences, and volunteered in more than ten events (in one year), respectively. I also volunteered at a hospital this summer for one hundred hours.
I am also on the varsity fencing team (1 year).

In addition to that, I participated in the mentor program in which upperclassmen volunteered to help incoming freshmen find their place in the school. (1 year)
I participate in community events, such as working as a pollworker on election days. In a few months, I will become involved in helping low-income families fill out tax returns. :)

I am also a member of Who’s Who and have recently been nominated for NSHSS. (Can anyone tell me the legitimacy of both of these agencies?)

However, I have not taken the SAT yet and am waiting for the one in October. Because of that, I have taken practice SATs, and they range from 1950 to 2200.

My first-choice universities are Harvard, Stanford, and Yale. The rest include UC Berkeley, UCLA, Brown, and Princeton. And behind those seven is UC Davis.

Thanks for reading! I hope someone can help. :)

To start off, I’m jealous of your volunteer work. The two agencies, in my humble opinion, are rip offs, but then again, I’m extremely cheap. I highly advice more AP’s. The 26th high school is a very iffy subject, as I’ve been reading in one of the “parents’” forums.

I’d say you’re on a good path, and if you put in a good enough effort into the remaining of your high school career, a top university is very possible.

you have really good ECs, but they dont mean much alone.

to be honest, i dont see harvard per se, but definitely a top college!
