Let me know what you think…Thanks for everything!!

Your stats and EC’s are good, so you have a great shot at all of the schools if I judge purely at the numbers. Some of the schools you specified look at your essays a lot so make sure they’re good.

You have a shot at all the schools you’ve mentioned.

You have a good shot at these schools but remember they all have the most impressive applicants so really work on your essays and find teachers who will give you great recs. Most of America’s best students aim for the same colleges: Ivy Leagues, Stanford, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, MIT… so you’ll have plenty of competition.

You’re an outstanding applicant that any school should be proud to have. However, remember that many colleges these days in an effort to prove that they’re “not elite” take mediocre candidates shoving out candidates like you. Make sure that your essays are superb and your interview is flawless. The interview can make or break a candidate - and they’re really a crapshoot depending on who your interviewer is. (If you have an old man who tells you that there were no girls at the school when he attended, it’s probably a NO for that school.)

You have a really good chance.

Is the All State Orch like a long term thing where you go to rehearse every week or is it kinda like a 3 day event?

Oh yeah your chances look good. Just make sure you include the ECs that you spent time on and discard the ones that you havent spent
much time on.

I spent almost same time for each ECs and enjoy the time. Which one I should delate ?
school pick you up for region orchestra audition, you get all state orchestra audition if get into region orchestra. Last year I got into all state orchestra.
But I am on the waitlist for the All National Orchestra. :(

I go to State Youth Orchestra rehearse every week during school yr.
All State Orchestra is for short time. I didn’t make this year :frowning: :frowning: I was too busy to study the SATs.

where do you live?

Which governor’s school? What state?

i would say youre in at gtown and other “lower ivies” like dartmouth, cornell n maybe brown…duke is a slight reach but if you can convey your passions exqusitely you should have a great chance…hyps is just a crap shoot adn really depends if you can manage to “stand out” somehow
