Essay idea:
*How the differences between PV and band (my top two extracurricular activities) have changed me. PV requires an internal, individual drive to succeed, while in band it is neccesary to motivate others to succeed as a whole.

I need to do a lot more brainstorming, but this is the only essay topic I have thought up so far.

I do have a life outside of all this. I watch movies, attend parties, sleep, read for fun, watch tv, and do various teenaged activies. =)

I do plan on retaking the SAT a third time, several SAT IIs, and the ACT a second time. The first time I took the ACT I had just come back from a delayed cross-country flight, had 6hrs of sleep, and virtually no studying, so I should be able to raise that score considerably.

The two things I undoubtedly want to do in college are pole vault and tuba. I’m not the best tuba player around, but I’m decent, and Stanford’s marching band is all about fun anyways. As far as pole vaulting, my current height is 8ft, which I plan to get to at least 10 feet since I’m working out year-round. I may be taking a vault camp in the winter, before track season starts.

Any comments and tips would be great, thanks =)
