Chances at McGill, NYU, USC, UChicago!?

<p>I’m a black male student from Milwaukee, and I attend the top public school in the state. I currently have a 3.4 GP UnWeighted with ALL 7 IB Courses (6 of them are higher level!). I scored a 33 on my ACT, with a 36 in Reading, 34 in English, 32 in Math and 28 in Science. I have taken the most rigorous course load available at my school by far. My grades, however are not stellar I know because I slacked off my freshman and sophomore years, but have exhibited an upward trend since.
Extracurriculars:
Captain of varsity soccer
Vice president of a club, Friends of Islam
Involved in a freshman mentoring and support group
Mathletes team
Knowledge masters team (academic trivia competitions)</p>

<p>So I’m wondering what my chances would be at the schools listed above.

<p>I think you have a decent chance! Your ACT score is great and the rigor of your courses is impressive. Uchicago the essays are a huge part of their application so if you write really amazing essays I think you have a good chance there. Also the others are good targets/reaches. Good luck!!
