3 jobs, one of which is Staples, which I am still currently employed for.

Tons of community service hours volunteering for my rec department coaching 6-8th grade basketball and organizing a high school rec basketball league. Also volunteered in a congressional campaign for Congressman Mike Capuano.

Grades kind of suck, but mostly due to junior year, where I had a broken right arm (right-handed).

Anyways, let me know what you guys think.

Those aren’t mediocre schools. They are some very prestigious universities. Just because they aren’t Ivy League doesn’t mean they aren’t good schools.

You are a well rounded applicant, make sure you talk about your athletics and employment. Chess team won’t make you stand out.

I honestly think you’ll get into all your schools, with the one with the least probability being Florida. You have outstanding test scores, and your GPA isn’t bad either.

I did not get into BC. Just heard back today.

Then again, this is expected considering the fact that I am an in-state student. More students from my school were accepted into BC last year than the usual amount.

From what I have heard, nobody who applied EA to BC this year from my school has been accepted yet, and some very qualified students have been rejected.

This may not be the best indication of future chances, but nevertheless, I did not get in.

please?

Is there anything strong? Weak?
Are there any colleges on this list I will have a tough time getting into?
Any shoo-in’s?

i agree…these aren’t mediocre schools…
maryland, you’ll get in…i applied there too, and it looks good for you
georgia, i got in ea, your chances look good
florida and clemson, you have really good chances
i’m not familiar with the others
good luck

I think you’ll get into all your other schools with the exception of UF…that’s a maybe. And I also don’t know enough about UGeorgia.

UPDATE

Accepted into UConn
