chances at michigan for 2007???????

<p>hey, i was wondering what my chances are at Michigan for next year. I go to a fairly solid prep school in NY. (an average sat a little over 1200 on the old, 1800 on the new, 99% of grads attend a 4 year college) I have around a 3.9 unweighted gpa, but i think 3.83 with the way Michigan calculates it. I will have 7 ap classes by graduation, 3 done by the end of this year. All my other classes are either honors or advanced, including 2 languages, spanish and ancient greek.</p>

<p>Sat 1 scores-
Math- 760
Critical reading- 690
Writing- 770</p>

<p>Ap Euro (as a soph)- 5</p>

<p>i plan on applying pretty early, possibly as early as september.</p>

<p>i wouldn’t say in for sure. you have some nice courseloads and some great sat scores, but you need to make sure you write some good essays, get some good recs, and have some ECs (but you should already have them by now). as long as you those parts, i think you have a great shot.</p>

<p>sorry but i would say not a lock. I was deferred- still dont know yet. I applied in the beginning of Oct. Same GPA and course load (one more AP) at New England prep school and almost 2300 SATs. You are obviously qualified but it is a crazy process.</p>
