post a link if you want me to chance back

In
…

didn’t you say that you were going to have a heart attack on the other threads? you’re in

I’m on the verge of having one haha
I’m just SO worried because I’m OOS and it’s supposed to be substantially harder.
Plus all these kids with their 4.0s and 2400 sat scores arent helping

Well, welcome to CC :)

haha i’ve gotten increasingly more nervous since i’ve joined

one thread is enough. two will only give you a heart attack.

Sup bro lol, you and I are similar applicants, your GPA is a little stronger (weighted) my score is a little higher and our EC’s are both awesome. I think we both have pretty good chances. LSA helps, my school doesn’t rank but yours will help you a lot. Idk if we’re in but we have just as good a shot as anyone

it’ll be hard man. but i don’t see how you wouldn’t be a great candidate, honestly. it all comes down to admissions, though.

hope you get in =)

ps. your rank is impressive…it’ll def. offset your seemingly low gpa

for OOS, your SAT’s seem a little low, but i think you EC’s and your class rank definitely offset that. good luck!! : )

dude, you should include your lacrosse activities

i’m pretty sure that helps a lot w/your chances.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1036019-chances-michigan-university-will-chance-back.html

not feeling it
your ECs are great but im not sure if your grades or scores are competitive enough

Everything looks good except for your UW GPA. SAT/ACT are pushing it for OOS as well, but the GPA would be the deal breaker in my opinion. I wouldn’t discourage you from applying, though, as you’re still a good candidate in my opinion.

This thread is almost a year old. The OP was accepted to Michigan but stayed in state and went to Texas.

LOL I would have won money if I took that bet both on the acceptance and the odds of actually accepting and paying UofM tuition coming from Texas and in the top 5% of the high school class.
