Do I have good chances

MSU: Low match

I assume you mean Michigan State University. You are a low match particularly if you are from in state. Your SAT is near average while your GPA is above their 75%.

What do you mean by low match?

Low match means very high chance and almost a safety. Are you in-state? If you are, you should have taken ACT as part of the MME in March.

No, I’m from Puerto Rico. I was also accepted into the HSHSP program in MIchigan State University. I will be attending this summer.

Then, you may need to boost your SAT score a little bit. Perhaps 1800 will do.

It would be ideal to boost your SAT score a little, but your huge dedication and interest in zoology, which is demonstrated in your EC’s, is very good. Acceptance into HSHSP will also help a bit since it is such a prestigious summer program.

Michigan State - Low Match

I’ve also forgot to mention that I am a junior. And that am also a musician, I play various drums like congas, djembes, panderos, bongo, timbales and drum kits. Does that help me in my application?

Any passion shown in EC would help.
