Good chance… Althought always assume the worst and work your hardest nonetheless!

make sure to let them know it’s your top choice if you’re applying RD

if you apply ED then you are pretty much in as long as your teachers dont hate you and you dont write terrible essays

I think you’re golden  I got in RD (my stats are in profile), and your stats are equal/ better. I assume your teacher recs will be good?

yeah but then there’s always this guy:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=323253

applying ED is always the best approach if you’re sure NU is your #1 choice, and if you don’t want to apply ED, to express a lot of interest in the form of supplemental materials, letters, campus visits, an interview, etc.

Apply ED. But yeah, your chances are pretty good. I got in this year with a higher GPA (3.95 or so unweighted, 4.25 weighted), lower test scores (2180 SAT total, 2280 composite, didn’t take the ACT), and much fewer EC’s (some community service, JV sport MVP). Hope that helps.

if you bring the gpa and class rank up, you will have very good chances
