Chances at NYU, USC, McGill, UPenn, UChicago?

<p>I’m a black male student from Milwaukee, and I attend the top public school in the state. I currently have a 3.4 GPA unweighted with ALL 7 IB Courses (6 of them are higher level!). I scored a 33 on my ACT, with a 36 in Reading, 34 in English, 32 in Math and 28 in Science. I have taken the most rigorous course load available at my school by far. My grades, however are not stellar I know because I slacked off my freshman and sophomore years, but have exhibited an upward trend since.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Captain of varsity soccer
Vice president of a club, Friends of Islam
Involved in a freshman mentoring and support group
Mathletes team
Knowledge masters team (academic trivia competitions)</p>

<p>The schools I’m wondering about are:
UPenn(dream)
NYU
USC
McGill
UChicago</p>

<p>If you have recently earned almost all A’s, I think these schools will find you a very attractive applicant.</p>

NYU - definitely a safer choice
USC - good shot
McGill - good shot
UChicago - not a reach, but almost</p>
