Bumpity bump?

I concur with your assessment.

you are a junior
and u can still take over ur sat’s
so
do it
and then come back

Ivies will be tough with that rank/SAT.

If you can, retake your SAT/ACT (whichever you choose I guess), and you should be in good shape and have a decent chance at your reaches. I do agree your rank is a bit low, if you can bring it up, of course do that. Otherwise, I agree with your own analysis of chances.

If you retake the SAT and get 2200+, Dartmouth/Amherst would be more reasonable.

Thank you all for your opinions. I am planning to retake the SAT in June.

Carleton and Wellesley are just as reputable as the Ivies, in particular the latter. I wouldn’t quite call them “safely in your range yet”, unless you can get an SAT above 2100. That’s still definitely possible at this point. Good luck.
